Pearl City Shops History
 

 

In the 1800’s Pearl City relied heavily on fishing as a source of food and The Pearl River was abundant with shellfish and the shores would wash up oysters that bore magnificent pearls.

Pearl City Shops logo was created to showcase the famed oyster shell pearls that used to come from the area.

Pearl City Shops is a Neighborhood Convenience Center that was developed in 2007 to better serve the Kama’aina population of Pearl City with affordable and quick dining options along with convenient retail tenants that residents can go to.

Pearl City Shops is located in the upward mountain section of Pearl City at 1029 Makolu Street which is at the corner of Acacia Road & Kuala Street which is adjacent from the Pearl City Walmart.

Pearl City Shops is easy to drive to with free parking readily available and is open 7 days a week from  4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
